This piece reflects that two opposites can be more similar than one might imagine and also the exact opposite, which is two similar things can be more different than one might imagine. Shown through the background palette, we see how the colours in the arrows change hues versus on a blank background. Further how the entire weight carried by the print changes with a coloured frame versus a white frame. Here's a piece that can be a stand alone AND at the same time time can also be a set.
